Bioware is also fairly common, although not as common as cyberware. It tends to be more expensive and more discrete than cybernetics - and it usually has a correspondingly lower Humanity Cost.

Muscle grafts, organ transplants and other gross surgical techniques can quickly increase the body's performance and durability.

More subtly, nano-tech can be used to make microscopic adjustments to the physiology, such as bullet-resistant skin, artificial muscle bundles, toughened bones or improved antibodies.

At the very cutting edge, viral transformations can permanently alter DNA.

Cosmetic surgery is common, and can effect massive changes using any or all of these methods. Having a face from a famous movie star, for instance, is quite common with posergangs.
