City Centre houses City Hall, the Justice Court and a variety of museums, galleries and libraries. The "democratically elected" mayor, Mbole Ebunike, runs the city from his offices here - or rather he doesn't since he seems to have suffered a major break from his corporate backers, and is vetoing everything that crosses his desk at the moment.

The area also has a lot of lobbyists, lawyers and financial institutions, all keen to influence city policy. The area also hosts a lot of fancy shops, and even an old-fashioned Newspaper (not a screamsheet), the Del Coronado Bay Journal.

Lake Park is a large public park. By day its relatively safe, and most days you can even swim in the lake (assuming the filtration system isn't on the fritz, which it often is.) By night it becomes a very dangerous place where people regularly disappear.
